adoption (or rejection); sorting (out); 〔選択〕 choice; option; selection.

～する sort out; adopt or reject; take or leave; 〔選ぶ〕 choose; select; make one's choice.

●取捨よろしきを得る 〈物が主語〉 be properly selected; 〈人が主語〉 be judicious in one's selection. [⇒しゅしゃせんたく]

●取捨に迷う be at a loss which to take [choose] 《from among…》; can't decide which 《of…》 to choose.

●取捨は随意です. It is up to you whether you take it or leave it. | You decide whether you want it or not.
